 Suffolk Insurance has merged with local broker Saffron Insurance...
Suffolk Insurance has been serving the needs of personal and commercial customers in Haverhill and the surrounding villages for over 30 years.
Geoff Carter, Managing Director of Suffolk Insurance, said “My customers are very important to me and I did not want to sell to a company that would just transfer my customers and friends into a faceless organisation. I’ve had a long association with Saffron, they have the same high standards and customer service focus as I do. They are a family feel business, with a team that cares. I wanted to find an owner that would be around for a long time, as will I”.
Geoff and his staff are staying at their current premises in Haverhill and have been joined by Saffron’s commercial team from the Saffron Walden head office. Not only will staff have more space but there will be plenty of support for Geoff and his team.
Saffron Insurance have offices in Essex, Suffolk, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire and there are plans to spread further afield during the next twelve months.
Saffron is still an owner managed business. David Beswick, managing director and his fellow directors bring valuable experience in the insurance and financial sector. Together they run a young and vibrant business with an atmosphere and ethos of hard work balanced with fun.
David said “We are delighted that Geoff and his team are joining us as we both run like minded businesses. We are serious about our commitment in the town, our commercial team of 25 staff have moved into the first floor of Suffolk Insurances offices. This will give local businesses access to excellent insurance and service”.
